Life is full of choices and decisions we make. JASON TAOnakagawa tells the story of what he is about and how he becomes a hairstylist & makeup artist. During his middle school years, his life seemed to have been decided by fate. An impressive barbershop and a marvelous barber who was the person who gave him hope to grow and make his dream came true. After awarded in a Japanese photographic beauty design contest, deeply influenced by Japanese culture, he bravely decided to move to Japan, Tokyo, in the end. Living in a foreign country, he faced various difficulties and severe challenges that he had to handle. JASON TAOnakagawa never forgot his roots in achieving goals to succeed. He finally got a makeup artist qualification ( graduated from Tokyo Les Doigt Makeup Academy ), and a Japanese hairdresser license ( graduated from Tokyo Yamano Beauty College ). Meanwhile, he also learned how to bartend in a Japanese cocktail & whiskey bar. Thus, he described that creating different types of fashion styles could be compared to serving cocktails. “It is not just putting a drink into the glasses, but also being attentive to your customers and understanding their wants.”, he said. “ Be bold and brave, but cautious ”, a quote was from the barber, his mentor’s teaching and encouragement. JASON TAOnakagawa always remembered and made a practice of it constantly either in daily life or designing work. As time grows, experience refines, the connection of life will not be interrupted, and the story of JASON TAOnakagawa will continue until the end.
